Cal RTA Scholarship Foundation: California Retired Teachers Association of NC San Diego is awarding high school seniors pursuing a career in education and have applied or have been accepted to CSU or UC college $1500. Community college students will receive an amount of $1000. Paper applications are on the scholarship board. Deadline is March 10, 2023.
ACSA and SDCSBA Scholarship: Region 18 Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) and San Diego County Boards Association (SDCSBA), will provide ten (10) $1,000 college/university scholarships for high school seniors in the San Diego and Imperial County areas. Students must be pursuing a career in education as a teacher or other certificated employee. Paper applications are on the scholarship board. Deadline is March 29, 2023.
San Diego County Farm Bureau 2023 Scholarship: Applications are open for the SD County Farm Bureau Scholarship. Scholarship awards ranged from $1,000 to $5,000. Students entering a two-year or four-year university with the intent on pursuing a course study in agriculture/horticulture and are a permanent resident of San Diego County can apply. Rustic Pathways Scholarship: Apply to the Rustic Pathways Global Perspectives Scholarship. They are offering $2000 in scholarships to high school students attending college in 2023. The deadline to apply is August 7th 2023. For more information swing by my office or go to www.rusticpathways.com
Julian Women’s Club Scholarships: There are two scholarships available from the women’s club. There is a vocational scholarship and a first responder scholarship. BCT Scholarships: Backcountry Communities Thriving is now offering two scholarships for high school seniors. The Dave Walton Memorial Scholarship requires an essay about how a student plans to give back to the Julian community after high school. The Bobbi Green Memorial Scholarship is for students interested in entering the nursing field, theater arts, ranching or a trade. There are online applications at the website and paper applications are available on the scholarship board. Deadline for both scholarships is May 26, 2023.
