Money for college

The EWI Scholarship Program offers college scholarships to top high school seniors enrolled in a public, private, charter or parochial school located within San Diego County or persons who are homeschooled within San Diego County and plan to pursue an associates, bachelor's or master's degree, or certification program in a specific career path. The award of this scholarship is based upon the academic standards set forth in the application and financial need. This program has been approved by the National Association of Secondary School Principals and the American Vocational Association.

The deadline for submitting student applications is Friday, March 25, 2024 at 9:59 p.m. Only one student from each high school in San Diego County is eligible to submit an application for this scholarship, so please do not provide the link to more than one student from your school. Multiple submissions will be disqualified.

The San Diego Chapter of EWI will award one $5,000 scholarship. Scholarships must be applied to first and second semester tuition, books, lab fees and on campus housing expenses only. All awards are disbursed to the student’s college or certified program. Students have the option of deferring a scholarship for one year if funds cannot be used in the year the scholarship is awarded. Any funds not used within the allotted time frame are forfeited.

Please ensure you include all requested documents when uploading their application to the link. If a submission does not include all of the requested materials, it will be eliminated from consideration.
