Took a group to Watts Atelier today! Students saw another side of the art world and learned about the hard work that goes into professional drawing and painting.

High contrast reverse shading ice cream cones. This was a super challenging project and I'm so impressed!!

Changed out the Eagle Gallery to show off our recent Impossible Shape painting. Also a few of our recent Magnolia flowers.

Working on our painting skills and learning out Kandinsky. The goal was to learn about thick paint coverage, the color wheel and have some fun experimenting with color. I love how different each circle is!

This is a friendly reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, February 18th, is a Minimum Day. School will be dismissed at 12:00 PM, and buses will depart immediately after dismissal.

Please also note that the Winter/Fall Sports Banquet originally scheduled for tomorrow evening has been postponed. The new date is February 25th at 5:30 PM.

The East County Mountain & Desert Regional College & Career Expo invites colleges, universities, apprenticeship programs, military representatives, workforce agencies, and regional employers to connect directly with students. This annual regional event provides approximately 200 students, in grades 8–12, the opportunity to explore postsecondary pathways, career options, and local employment opportunities. Due to our geographic location, students in our mountain and desert communities have limited access to in-person recruitment and workforce engagement events. Your participation helps expand awareness, access, and opportunity while strengthening the pipeline between education and the regional workforce. We welcome community partners who are interested in recruitment, hiring graduating seniors, offering internships, or simply helping students envision what is possible beyond high school.
